I can already hear the FORD jokes.

I broke two cars in one day.
I will have the Fox body car starting for the Oct race.
James , Bill , and I are just three points apart.
THEY dont know WHAT they dont know.

I went and stood by the band so I couldn't hear the announcer and then they had the band start paging me :bang:

I WILL RACE NEXT YEAR...it's not nearly as difficult.

I was in the tower quite a bit on Sat and the main computer was down, no names on the screen. It would require diggin through the cards each time and we know that aint gonna happen. The junked comp was suppose to be sent off this week for repairs. Quite a few of the shootout guys didnt get a name read either, it wasnt just you.

Oh please, line the cards up on the table by class then number and tape them down. We did it that way for years. It takes 15 minutes to line them up. The computer guy has enough to do without typing in all the info on people that may not show up but once a year. Plus there is always information on the cards that that doesn't need to be typed in like special days or jokes etc. or new sponsers that are there for one race. It ain't rocket surgery. :P

I didnt say it was hard to do.. I use to announce years back and always used the cards, we didnt have fancy computers back then. What I did say in a round about way is that it wasnt going to happen with the people in the tower that were workin this weekend. On another note ya cant read the cards if (a) you cant read the writing on them or (b) you dont bother to fill them out or turn them in. . . and yes, there were a lot of missing cards.

It was 3860 lbs Kay, its now 3680 after the wreck. I dont have any sponsors, but there are other racers that do have sponsors. I'm sure most of the real race fans know who I am and there may be some that wish they didnt

Hey Bob, sorry about getting your weight wrong....

The announcer did give the photographers a heads up when you came up to the box.....
told them to keep an eye on you as you did like to bring the front up....
