We are exploring the possiblity of starting an entry level heads up class. The class rules would be restrictive (inline valves, stock suspension, small tires...etc). We are trying to make a class that would be fairly economical. Please vote if you have any interest in racing in a class like this.

They used to have a true radial class they had a spec BF Goodrich REAL street tire 100% stock suspension N/A could be a cool deal

small blocks only
single nitrous plate
stock suspension
very basic, economical, very "entry level"

I raced in most of the true radial class races and it was fun.

You might check some of the other sites for their 275 drag radial classes.
Small blocks single plate with 1 NOS solenoid and stock suspenion.
No power adders is another way.

I would love to have a reason to make my car faster.
Problem for me is every time the do these "entry level"
class rules is they seem to revolve around having street
equipment, carpet, seats, and glass.
None of which really does anything for standardizing the class,
But does rule out a lot of bracket style cars.
Think about tires, suspension, power adders and
limiting electronic controls. Requiring a true street tire,
and factory located suspension, without electronic
help makes it a lot more budget friendly, and easier
to tech. Keep the purse low enough to discourage
the big spenders from throwing a ridiculous motor
at it.

I like it,except for the smallblock part.
What about restricting bigblocks to a production block?In my eyes,a big engine in a light car IS budget racing.

Put pegasus & pokey puppy's ideas together & I would try it.

I would be in but the inline valve cuts me out. I have a sbc with canted valve heads.
How about BB and SB non inline valve and non-OE blocks N/A with a option for alcohol and nitroused sb OE or not blocks with no controlers and a -4 only line on a small M/T slick ? We have two cars that could fit in somthing like this.Jason
