I had a great time, it was one hot MOFO!!! The low 10 sec class was seperated by .29, high 10 was .21, so they went with the low 11 sec class which was seperated by .19, hey...at least a big block Chevelle won it all During the arm drop qualifying pass the Green Weenie did its job. My nephew said Rich pointed at my car and saluted when I left the line

It was a good time,but the heat really got to me,I'm getting old and soft I suppose.

And then they announced that you were competing in the Wheelie contest (which you could have won easily) I bragged to more than a handful of people to watch for the green Chevelle..........................................no show!  _________________  Nose-High FOREVER!!!!!

The lady at the timing shack said they would like for you to compete in the burnout contest, go to the tower and see someone. I wasnt going to burn down a brand new pair of slicks to win 200.00. She must have been confused because she gave one of the wheelie contest certificates to that S10 that just spun his tires.

What did everyone think of the orange and white 70(?) Chevy pickup with the aluminum camper that was running 10.30s?
That guy is such a trip to watch,he's been at every Pinks event I've been to.I can't believe he's never made the show.

That truck is in alot of youtube videos under farm truck or something like that, it sure had some big ole meats under the back end of it.

My camera crapped out on me. Ted, Craig, and I were talking up the greenie weenie for the wheelie contest and the he no showed. lol. It was one hot weekend!!!!
