Bob's car in a box?

Postby Devin » Sun Apr 05, 2009 7:02 pm

Is he getting this famous? First his car is being used in internet ads, and now there is a die cast model?

I didn't get a shot of the topside, but it was striped exactly like Bob's.

It was at a collectibles place downtown in Eureka Springs. The price was $32.00. I came this close > < to just buying it and assuming you'd want to buy it back from me.

I am going to guess that Ron's Collectibles can get hold of one as well. I don't know who the manuf. was, but they had 2 or 3 of them there. It was about 1/12 scale, roughly 6 inches long or so.

You can't really tell from the photo but it looked like to me that the thing even had Missouri plates on it!

Hey Bob---You sure must not be a fella who likes to brag very much---My son brought me by an issue of one of the national high performance magazines (sorry name of it escapes me) for June '09 and there in the middle was a double page spread of the green machine doin what it does best. Congrats on the write up and the picture...nice to have a celebrity amongst us.
