has anyone done this, along with using a (pmgr) type starter? been thinking about using this but have seen some sites warning that when using the pmgr starter, it can cause the starter solenoid to stay on for a couple seconds, causing damage to starter. thx...novice

Thats the best way to go, if you know how to wire it up, put it on and let ur rip! There is a Ford looking type solenoid that has a built in bump button on the top you can get at O riellys thats only a couple dollars more. Works great for setting valves, thats the way i have my yellow car wired up.
