I'm selling my '79 Mustang Cobra Street/Strip car. The body is straight and it has very little rust. I've owned this car 17 years and in 1998, I swapped in a built 351W, c4 trans with 2,800 rpm stall converter. It has been garage kept sense then and has received many other upgrades. This car has 129,000 mile on it but has less than 2,000 miles on the new engine, trans, and other new parts! I built this car with the intentions of bringing to the track to play, but I haven't the means(trailer) to bring her out with out the help of friends. It has been a good project for me and she has turned into a really strong running car but it's time to let her go. I'm guessing horse power/torque to be about 425/450(on my butt dyno) at the crank. I have over $10,000 invested(you know how that is) but I'm asking $5,200 cash. No trades please. Feel free to ask me any questions about the car and/or make me a reasonable offer. Thanks!
