Need Used Electric Fuel Pump

Postby billnotrino » Sat Mar 14, 2009 1:17 am

Looking for a good used elec. fuel pump that will keep up with a mild SBC and 175 horse NOS plate. My Mallory 140gph worked great but took a dump. What ya got.

Are they easy to rebuild? I've been lead to believe it's pretty precise. But I've been misled before. I just wanted a pump to get the car out to a buddies shop till I could get mine rebuilt by Choate or somebody. But hey if it's not that hard why waste the money. Do you who carries the rebuild kit? Thanks.

They're not too bad to rebuild.
All out performance should be able to get it.

I've had mine apart a couple times cleaning it, no big deal and I'm sure you can get a schematic online somewhere to show you how it comes apart.

Thanks fellas. I'll give it a shot. Better add a filter after the pump though. That why if I blow it I'm only out the pump.
