Chris you know I HATE heads up half track racing but if your going to not run 1320 you should run 1/8 mile . this opens the class up to alot more cars that will not have to make changes to run this class then change to run other classes like mako etc

I like the 1/4 mile best but I understand that the slow down area is limited and if the 1/4 mile is not an option I would vote for 1000' as opposed to 1/8 mile. I think the longer the race is distance wise the more it gives all of the street cars a chance to shine. Some cars hook hard and have great 60' times and other may not be as strong on the bottom end but have big mph and strong top end and the longer distance will make for better racing in my opnion.
I would rather see 1/4 mile in true street for the guys that run Dot that pick up on the back half and don't have a great first half. The street racing guys don't just run an 1/8 on the street or even run the gearing for 1/8 in a street car. Getting people off the street and to the track is the interest I thought, going to an 1/8 or 1000' would detour most of the street guys and just really be appealling to the bracket guys. IMO. I know I am not interested in participating in the heads up street brackets if 1/8 mile. Just my input. But if you keep it at 1/4
Some of us have power adders that work better after the 18th mile i vote 1/4 mile if at all possible! And ive heard nothing but gripping from the youngans about not running the 1/4!
