I like indexes all the way around, kinda like the VAMP series runs. Then its not the biggest wallet that wins.
Re: K.O.T.S. "possible index classes"
For what it is worth, my vote is for the 12.0 and 13.5 indexes. I think if you were do to a stat analysis of the average speeds of the street cars that are showing up there, you'll find those two classes right in the middle of the bell curve.
The only real concern that I have is that leaves out a lot of the BIG power guys that are running sub 11, so you might try an 11.0 class as well, but I have a feeling the vast, vast majority of cars are going to be in the 12.0 - 13.5 range. For example, that 13.5 index is right in line with what the Mustang GT is supposed to do stock, and you can't swing a dead cat out there without hitting 50 of those things on a Friday night.

At the MAKO events that we ran in the past @ TRP the 12.0 bracket was HUGE
13.50 did well. the 10.0 class just did so so If you were going to add an 11.0 class you would be better served to go 11.0 12.50 14.0
Speed Em Up or Slow Em Down Boys... everyone could run those classes if you had anything at all.

That cat deal was funny, I can wait to use that one sometime!!!!!!!!!!!

Need to get something done!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: K.O.T.S. "possible index classes"
I would give it a whirl. Neither the 12.0 or 13.5 hit my car but I would still give it a shot. I'm with Bob, I plan on running the VAMP races this year at MoKan. They have a 12.90 class in between 12.0 & 13.5 classes.

I would be interested in trying an index class. I think an index class like this would be popular.

ANY race where the competitors don't stay wide open for the entire 1/4 is . Street racing is HEADS UP

Re: K.O.T.S. "possible index classes"
We need an Easy Street class . Only a hand full of cars will be able to compete in the 2 proposed classes. Most of the street racers are going to be left-out again. Rules for an Easy Street class don't need to be complicated. Last year the rules for Easy Street were straight forward and easy to follow. This class would in-compass most of the street cars and trucks that come to T'N'T and midnight drags, but still leave the other two class to the few very fast, power adder type cars.
We need a class for the average bolt-on type performance street cars, and not just a super fast class centered around Blake's cars. And we sure don't need more index or bracket racing. People want to see and compete in heads up racing.

13.5 has my vote that gives the hardcore fwd guys a class to shoot for. Though a 14.0 would do good as well.
