Need info !!! I have a set of older qa1 adj alum coil over struts on my 94 mustang had them rebuilt with 14 inch 165 pound springs The problem Im having is that even on the loosest setting you have to really pick up hard to get any up movement But if you set it on tight it gets real hard so there working Also There is all most no down its like its riding on rubber snubbers but there is nothing hitting and if you take the struts off they move up and down with ease. Now I dont have the adj. caster camber so could that be the problem?? I have tried every spring from 90 up to 185 the same thing any help at all Thanks :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

How far do you have the adjusters raised? How much is the spring compressed? With the front end off the ground how much preload do you have on the spring with the adjuster?

The adjuster is about 2 to 3 inches up and when you jack it up it falls around 6 or so when you have it off it works up and down easy I am thinking it has to be in a bind got it apart now trying a few things if that dont work I give up

I don't think you have the adjuster raised enough and its not preloading the spring any....
