I have a Neal Chance Part #2005 SS torque converter. It is a 10 high stall race converter with a steel stator. According to their web site, this converter is built for 800+ HP for use with Nitrous, trans break or small blower. It went 5300 on the break behind a 355 in my 78 nova. It has glide splines. I will take 400$ for it. If interested, my # is 417-366-0273. Jim Kleine.

I have a MM converter that stalled 4500 I would sell for $350. I assume you need something for a glide?

well you would assume correctly yes we have a glide but we have a turbo output shaft so i can use a wide variety of convertors but we have already purchased on but I may be needing another one and what gears where you running with that torque convertor? thats my biggest prob

your gonna need to go to the basement on your rear gears with a 377 sbc, unless your gonna smack it with spray.... your gonna need deep gears and a loose converter to make that 377 make torque in a heavier full bodied car

I had a 4:10 gear with a 28" tire with that converter behind a 422 sbf. I agree with Larry on gearing. My current combo is a 368 sbf and I have a flash of 7200 on my chance converter and run a 4:86 gear.
