The first Mickey Thompson Shoot Out for 2014 results:

Pro Mod: Jason Lansdow laid down a 4.17 in qualifying for the number one spot. Kayla was laying down good numbers all night, as well. However, it came down to Jim Wiens and Jeremiah Cline in the finals...Wiens couldn't get his car to fire (ends up being a .30 part) in the allotted 2 min time in the finals against Cline, giving Cline a bye for the win.

Pro Street: Brent Deputy has his hands FULL this year with the Zimmerman/Tydo/Slavens entry! They set a new track mph record with a 176 mph pass (they didn't just set it, they blew it away). The McCoy car driven by Kevin Brown was also running hard with a few best passes! This class had many entries absent just due to cars that aren't done, and yet the class was huge!
Brent won the final against Herndon and his beautiful Vette...Herndon left hard, but the car got into the wall!

True 10.5: These cars are going to fly... and was the battle of the Mustangs... it came down to Mark Fields and Bill Cuigliatti, with Mark getting the win!

Drag Radial: What a great class.... great cars and good showing! This class was won by Devon Brown driving his dad's Silver Bullet!

Midwest 8.5 Racers: This class was busting at the seams! There were more cars in this class than in the entire town of Rogersville! Many records set in this class over the weekend! Greg Hight and Josh Allen met at the finals with Greg nudging for the win!

Pro Tree / No Box: This class was overwhelmed with cars and competition. It came down to a couple of ole faithfuls from ORP. Don Givans and his Big Bad Mopar (Larry calls it a Slowpar) and Larry Jr in his BDRC built Malibu. Larry ended up with the win!

Jr Dragster: This was a full field also! This came down to Lucy Newberry with the win!
