Thanks for replying. I know what point Bob was trying to make. Those things are always variables, no matter where you are. In the past, the roll-out at Ozark has been much less, than at other tracks. Some guys like Sonny West, have even swapped to larger tires when they run at Ozark to avoid red-lighting. I am just glad you are going to check it, and hopefully correct it.

No problem. We want this to be the place to race.

Keep David Goolsby in your prayers.

i agree with noe501 on this topic,

its hard to be competitive in the area when the lights are different, when i went to the finals at tulsa i was way slow on the lights..... i run 18 pounds of air in my front tires at ozark with average 35-37 degrees timing, remember i footbrake, but i have my car set up to leave on a flicker of the bottom bulb, i left the ozark tune and set-up on the car and was hitting .600's on a .500 bracket tree..... so i had to change set-up for tulsa.... i had to crank my timing up to 39 degrees and air front tires up to 38 pounds of pressure in my front tires... when i left on a flicker of the bottom bulb i was .520's to 30's.after set-up change...... i purposly left the tulsa set-up in the car for ozarks next weekend test and tune saturday i was .464 .467. 470 red, went back to ozark set-up and it was dead on the money...... definatly able to lean on the tree more at other tracks, amazing chaney had similar set-up problems also from track to track
